Hey! My name is Gavin Bearden, I am a sophomore at West Virginia University perusing a degree in sports media and planning to graduate in 2028. I currently work as a student photographer for the WVU Athletic program, where I am tasked to cover games, media days, and other athletic events.

I have experience working as an intern with VCU athletics, along with freelance work for Norfolk State Men’s Basketball at the 2025 March Madness tournament, and Duke Women’s basketball at the Greenbrier Tip-Off. I was also recently named as a finalist in the Basketball category in the World Sports Photography Awards.

I am always available for freelance work and open to traveling!
