Hey! My name is Gavin Bearden, I am a junior at West Virginia University perusing a degree in sports media and planning to graduate in 2028. I currently work as a student photographer for the WVU Athletic program, where I am tasked to cover games, media days, and other athletic events.

I have experience working as an intern with VCU athletics, along with freelance work for Norfolk State Men’s Basketball at the 2025 March Madness tournament, and Duke Women’s basketball at the Greenbrier Tip-Off. I was part of the 2026 Clarkson Creative Men’s Final Four Workshop, along with being named a Finalist in the Basketball category for the 2026 World Sports Photography Awards.

I am always available for freelance work and open to traveling!
